| Can Anyone Do this Club? |
ABSOLUTELY! This club was designed to support someone who has NEVER run 1 mile, to the seasoned marathoner! Don't be intimidated, it just takes one step to start and finish your first 5K... even a marathon! Walkers are welcome to join us! |
| What experience do I need to have to run with you? |
None... in fact, I wanted this club to be a place where those taking their first running step, will feel supported. However, whether you are a 45 minute 5K'er, a 25 minute or a 16 minute 5K'er, you will have the proper coaching. |

Often runners will fall off a pack. First, make sure you know the way back to your car. Second, use that as a motivation to stay with that group a little longer next practice. After a period of time, you may choose to run with a smaller group. However, I always coach that you should run 'up', that is, train with a group that is faster than you. |

Depending on where 'start' is, they may start with a 15 minute run at 12 min/mile and call it a day. From there we progress accordingly, safely and effectively. |

We will base progression on three aspects. Information gathered from your Polar HR monitor. Second, the time that you ran a specified distance and thirdly, how you feel and provide feedback to us. A good coach can more often than not just watch an athlete and know exactly what to do next.. |

Soon, we will choose a list of local races, whereas we will meet and run together as a team. You can run or walk any pace, but there will be support at each race. |
